Responsible business

We put our name to how we run the company, not only what we sell.

Evaluat Digital Limited has been Good Business Charter accredited since 16 September 2026. The charter is the UK's responsible business benchmark, built with the CBI, the TUC and the FSB, and it covers ten things about how a company treats its people, its suppliers, its customers and the country it pays tax in. This page says what each of them means here.

Component eight

Our commitment to customers.

The charter asks accredited organisations to publish what their customers can expect of them. Six things, and you can hold us to all of them.

You see the product on your own site before you pay for anything.

Every demo runs against your real site rather than a prepared one of ours, and the report it produces is yours to keep whether you become a customer or not.

We tell you what something costs before you commit to it.

Pricing is sized with you against the traffic you actually need to rehearse. You get the number in writing before you agree to anything.

We are straight about what the product does not do.

Our comparison pages carry a section on when to choose the other tool, and we would rather lose a deal than sell you a test that will not answer your question.

Your test data stays where your test ran.

Run a test in the UK and its data stays in the UK. Run it in the EU and it stays in the EU. The Privacy Policy, DPA and sub-processor list set out exactly where each artifact lives.

A person answers, and quickly.

We typically reply within one business day. There is no ticket maze and no chatbot standing between you and someone who can actually change the product.

Complaints reach the founder, not a queue.

If something has gone wrong, say so at hi@evaluat.com. It reaches the founder directly, and what we hear from customers is what sets the roadmap.

The charter

Ten components, and what they mean here.

Accreditation is a commitment to all ten, not a pick-and-mix. We are a small company, so some of these look different here than they would at a thousand-person employer. We have written what is actually true rather than what sounds impressive.

1. Real Living Wage
Everyone who works for Evaluat is paid at least the real Living Wage as calculated by the Living Wage Foundation, and we hold regularly contracted people to the same standard.
2. Fairer hours and contracts
Nobody here is on a zero-hours contract. If that ever changes, the charter rules on advance notice and cancellation pay apply from the first day.
3. Employee wellbeing
Sick leave is paid and nobody is penalised for taking it. Being unwell is not a performance problem.
4. Employee representation
At our size, everyone who works here has direct access to the people making the decisions. There is no layer to escalate through.
5. Equality, diversity and inclusion
We hire on what someone can do. We are too small for meaningful aggregate reporting, so this shows up in how each individual hire is run rather than in a chart.
6. Environmental responsibility
The environmental cost of a testing platform is almost entirely compute. Our test infrastructure is ephemeral, spun up for a run and shut down when it finishes, so we are not paying to idle hardware we are not using.
7. Pay fair tax
We pay the tax we owe in the United Kingdom and use no avoidance schemes. Company no. 14150225, VAT GB 440990781.
8. Commitment to customers
Published above, and the reason this page exists.
9. Ethical sourcing
What we buy is mostly software and cloud capacity. We check suppliers against the labour standards in the Ethical Trading Initiative base code before we take them on.
10. Prompt payment to suppliers
We pay suppliers on time, within 30 days at the latest. Small suppliers should not be financing us.
Good Business Charter accredited
Accreditation

What the stamp actually means.

The Good Business Charter is free to apply for and it is not a purchase. Accreditation is renewed every year, and anyone who believes an accredited organisation is not upholding the components can report it to the charter, which investigates and withdraws accreditation where the complaint stands. If you think something on this page is not true of us, that route is open to you, and so is telling us directly.

Read what accreditation means on the Good Business Charter's own site.
